I am working with a Cylinder in ZBrushCore. I would like one end to be tapered, but I need it to be precise, not sculpted by hand. Is there a way to specify numerically the parameters of the cylinder in ZBrushCore? I would like to make the diameter of one end of the cylinder smaller, and lengthen the cylinder overall before I start sculpting.

Yes, if you use the Cylinder3D primitive from the Tool palette you can set the Taper Top slider in the Tool>Initialize menu. When you have the cylinder how you want, press the Make PolyMesh3D button at the top of the Tool palette so that you can sculpt.
