Hey!
Just discovered Zbrush, and I can’t wait to see the new version! Now all I need is a job that will bring in an extra few hundred bucks…!
Here are my first few images.
Each took about 2 hours to complete.

Hi, and welcome to the Z
Those are awesome images! That guy on the right’s expression is just perfect. And since you did that after only a few hours, I’m eager to see what you’ll do when you’ve had more time.
hi & welcome to the z land
Welcome, you appear to be very talented and should do very well on this forum. Looking forward to more of your images.
welcome to the forum and it looks to me also that you are off to a great start with an awesome program…great character expressions on thes two
Nice expression and design–for someone just starting with ZBrush–you’re leaps ahead–good stuff and welcome
Hmmm, these are really good! I can just imagine what you will be turning out once you get more familiar with ZBrush and especially the new version. Glad you joined us here and shared your work. Hope to see more!!
Your first post, and these are great! You’ve demonstrated fine modeling skills, use of materials, placement of eyes, fiber brush. Very impressive.
Like that last one. Excellent work with the fiber brush.
Welcome to zbrushCentral!! Good work!!!
Hey thanks for all the great comments!
Here’s another image, that was my first actual Zbrush picture (re-colored and painted on a bit (eyes) in photoshop)
I only wish I could make a living doing this stuff. Most of my work has been in 2-D, (cel animation) -but I enjoy 3D when it’s as easy as Zbrush. Sigh, now if only bones/inverse kinematics were wayyy easier.
( looking into Project Messiah for that )
I cannot WAIT to get my hands on the 1.5 demo!!!
-monkey
looking good…
As already said these images are looking very good.!x
Welcome, and great first post!!
And ‘Kinematics’ takes an interesting turn with ZBrush 1.5…
Wha…
Animation in 1.5?!?!?!?!?!
Sorry no…I was referring more to editing position type things…No animation in 1.5 but we can all hope for that in the future…
I know I do!
Welcome and congatulations for your great first post. Here is your home.
Stonecutter, what do you mean?
Hey R!
Let’s see what do I mean? well, I’m working on the definitive version of Alice In Wonderland, I have a Dazzle DV-Bridge, which allows me to import anything and convert it to Digital, and with my video editing software, make animations…Right now, I have to do this by hand…I believe at some point there will be animation capabilities in ZBrush…I also think that some of the things I’ve seen in the BETA version will make my method of ‘hand-animation’ easier…
I guess that’s what I meant, but if you have more specific questions, email me and I’ll try to answer them!
Ah ok, thank you.
