NEW TO ZBRUSH i need some assistance

hello all…

i am new to zbrush, i started out a model without knowing about sub division levels… i am trying to create a model to get into unity but im not sure if having a high poly model with no subdivs is good or bad…

Its neither good nor bad.
In the long run Unity wants things to be lower poly, but in order to utilize the full potential of ZBrush to make something that looks great in Unity you will likely want to have subdivisions.
In other words you want both and heres why:
Unity will take your low rez mesh, and will use hi rez maps (displacement, normal, texture and so on) to make your low poly object look like it is made of millions of polys.
In order to do this you need to have both the low poly object to be able to move it around in Unity with no effort, and the high rez version to allow you to make all the maps you will need.
What you will wind up doing when you are almost all done in ZBrush is export the low poly version with hi rez maps and then import them all into Unity.
