The color is identical to ZBCentral. I like it. I hope it’s sign of great interconnectivity between the two in the future. (while ZBrush/Lightwave users shed tears over that thought.) Modo will rock. I hope they have a good demo. I liked the videos of the interface, and tools. They looked very user friendly. I will definitely pick it up if OI like the demo.

Mac folks will welcome such variety of this type of applications.
I am glad to see more “cool” applications when it comes to the MacOS and 3D art.
Modo looks very good so far. I am keeping an eye on it.

I was quite certain to buy Silo once it is available for mac which is quite soon from what I read but modo looks very interesting too. It will be a matter of price and delivery date. Has anyone info about expected price and shipping date for modo?

I wouldn’t scoff at the price though. From what it has, it looks to be a more robust program than Silo.
But, Silo is growing too. I’m sure given time Silo will eventually get to the point to where you can do some really amazing things with it.

BTW Modo app looks very promising, but for US$100 Silo looks even better. I find Modo a bit expensive.

Is anyone else having problems downloading any videos from the modo site? Perhaps i should email them but i thought id get a quicker response here ;), any video link just jumps to the page top. Even direct linking via view source and copy/pasting the link into a window just comes up with a ‘cannot find server’ message
They worked fine for me yesterday. I don’t know about today though. Maybe there server is getting hammered, and can’t take the load?
Have you tried downloading them rather than streaming it? Works for me.

We can’t go wrong with Silo.
Ive started downloading the videos using getright. I used view source, copy-and-pasted the video links into the ‘enter new url for download’ option on the file menu, and its started transferring. i expect i could use getright to capture clicks instead-but anyhow, the videos seem to be there still. Thanks!
