New reptile alphas at HighEnd

Hi All,

just a note to let you know I just uploaded 12 reptile alpha brushes at highend3d.com They started a new ZBrush section and are taking great care build a great download section. Anyone familiar with HighEnd knows they are already the place to go for MEL.

The upload system there is quite nice and you can easily maintain your scripts/alphas/lights by updating new versions with just a new upload. The system is incredibly easy to use

Check it out.

I hope you enjoy the brushes!

PS They also have a new Zbrush in Production Pipelinesforum worth looking into if you are working with Zbrush in a production environment. The launch isnt official yet but people are starting to find it.

Thank you Scott…just downloaded them…will try them out in a minute or two…the site looks like it will be exciting and fresh…I will be watching it for sure.
thnx

I know I have probably misunderstood something…which is probably the case…I downloaded the alpha pack…unzipped it…but z2 is not reading the format…am I supposed to be using something else in order to be able to use them? thnx
ron

Many thanks for this and all the other contributions you have made.
( let us not forget your help with the Maya displacements, which insures
your place in the zbrush hall of fame)

found a work around for my wittle probwem…open the files in ps and convert to bmp’s and then they work fine for me in z…thank you very much. If I can return the favor sometime lemme know.

Oh c**p!!

I should have saved them in a grayscale format not RGB, my apologies everyone I will fix it and reupload.

Scott

ok files converted to bmp and re uploaded. Sorry all : )

Scott

thnx Scott:+1: :sunglasses: :+1:

darn…I wanted to try these out, but my browser doesn’t allow me to download from highend3d :frowning:

stuh, sent you a private message

Thanks guys and gals,
hope they come in handy.

Stuh: what browser are you using?

Scott: I’m using IE6. I know Highend says their downloads have been “tested to work on IE6,” but…it’s just not working for me. Maybe it’s because I don’t have Macromedia Flash Player 8 installed (and don’t want it), but I don’t really see why that would be.

I had have same trouble like you… 'coz there are TWO download buttons, one of them is not working properly… try the another one:sunglasses: :+1:

thank you very much, Scottie:+1:

Thats really odd. I will pass it on to HighEnd as a bug. Were you able to get the alphas at all? Let me know and I will make them available to you.

Scott

Yeah, I don’t know…Ron was nice enough to email them to me, so I got them. I wish they would just show the link instead of using those annoying scripts, not only does it cause problems like this but it can confuse plugin downloader programs (wasn’t trying to use one here, though :P)

Hey everyone,

Anyone that is having a download problem please email me at will at highend3d.com and we’ll figure out whats up. Sometimes ie6 has its settings too high and blocks downloads because we use a javascript to send the files to the browser. Other times software firewalls block. But other then that we’ve had no other reported problems, so please email me and we’ll figure it out!

Will

 Nice thank for your nice alphas

By the way if anyone else has alphas they want to share, our site will let you upload up to 15mb files and you can update those files with just one click. Makes it very easy to organize, sort, search and keep collections up to date.

So please just submit if you want to share

Thanks!
Will
