New From polypaint problems

when i paint my model and hit new from polypaint, my textures are not where i painted them and it changes horribly, what am i doing wrong? im trying to mark certain areas so i can take it in photoshop and apply high resolution images in it

A screenshot would be useful here.

Is it a case of the resulting texture looking blurry or pixelated? In this case increase the UV Map Size in the UV Map Palette prior to generating the texture.

Is it a case of the resulting texture not resembling your polypaint at all, maybe with odd streaks of color? This is probably an issue with your UVs.

If neither of these suggestions helps you correct the issue, please post a screenshot of the problem directly to the thread here so we can get a better idea about what you’re seeing.
