Need your help with hd geometry and polypaint.

I could not find a guide on how to concisely do this anywhere so that is why I’m asking here. I’m making a character for a video game. Right now it has 600k standard subdivision points and 41 million hd geometry points. I want to get the game ready model down to about 20k with the displacement map from HD geometry and texture maps from poly paint.

I need to bring that model into blender for rigging and animation and then to Unity 3d( it’s important that the tex and disp maps fit the uv’s of the game ready mesh…

If anyone knows about a CONSISIVE tutorial for this specific situation that would be very helpful.
I think I got right around 70+ hours on this one character so I would like to not start over.
