Have photoshop and have used it for hair.
The Renderosity site has a tutorial in how to make hair with Photoshop on models such as this and poser.
All the tutorials here show hair using zbrush.
I would not expect Adobe to suggest Zbrush either.

Go there and type âhairâ in the window edit research of your navigator!

My feel about hair is that, if you attempt to do realistic hair, you will fail. Real hair added to an unreal image loses the innate quality associated with most artists workâŠ
My advice is to attempt your own style. Seeing as everything you do will carry your own characteristics anyway, by creating your own attempt, you guarantee that these characteristics will also carry across.
The way I normally attempt to do anything new and seemingly complicated is to study what you are going to attempt. This can be either through sketches, photography, simply concentrating on it up close, or even writing about what part of it stands out in your own mind.
When I look at artists work, I can often tell those who have studied their subject matter and those who have just gone out and tryed to recreate from memory, and unless your artistic ability is finely tuned or you know your subject matter on a soulful level, then youâll never be happy with your results.
Just a thought.
