Hi found the brush in the “planarpath” lightbox
But I can’t change the size of the brush, the usual way doesn’t help.
Help how to increase the size
Hello @dastan ,
The Planar Path brush uses the Stroke> Lazy Mouse> Backtrack> Path feature. When this feature is active the straight green lines inside the yellow circles only represent the direction and facing of the path the stroke will follow, not the size of the brush.
The brush size works normally. If you make the brush radius very very small, you may see its effect on the mesh reduced to a smaller stroke. However with the planar brush and the backtrack Lazy mouse settings there are many more variables that affect the eventual stroke other than the brush size. It doesnt matter how large you make the stroke, the brush will only affect whatever portion of the mesh falls under its influence. It is heavily influenced by the starting elevation, direction, and Brush_Depth> Imbed settings of the brush. If apply a single stroke to a curved surface, you may not see very much impact from a single brush stroke.
At the default settings, the Planar Path brush will not produce results like the thumbnail with a single stroke. It requires multiple applications to build up the effect–not simply moving back over the path, but stopping the stroke and beginning an entirely new stroke over the same area.
If you are looking for a brush with a more dramatic, immediate effect, try using the Trim Dynamic brush with Lazy Mouse> Backtrack> Path activated for it.
