Hey guys i started the helmet today and come to a problem,as you can see in the image the red marks an edge polygroup i want to pull out frontwards but keep it level so i can close the front hole and add grill work.
So far i can only extrude it and it goes in the direction the edges are set at,anyway thanks in advance for your help

Did you try Transpose Move? AutoMaskByPolygroup @ 100 perhaps. Limiting the axis with Modifiers in the Transpose dropdown can be helpful. (I have it at the bottom of my custom UI)

ok tried that was getting some strange artifacts and on top of that ive changed me mind about the design hehe thanks for the help again mate

Better results are obtained by shifting points when smooth is off (cage or @ a lower sub division level) That’s why we have and want them
Yes i found that out but tbh mate i dont like the way it looked in the end
