Need help with 3D printing measurements for a toy laser gun's handle

Hi everyone. I’m making a little laser gun for a Transformer toy, but I’m a little stumped on how to get the measurement for the handle in conjunction with the measurement for the gun’s body itself. Do I need to set the measurement for the handle separately and then merge it with the body? Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure I understand the question exactly but I guess you have a couple of subtools (handle and body). If so then with both visible use the ScaleMaster plugin to make a new bounding box tool for all visible subtools. Then you can get/set it’s size easily and rescale all the others (handle and body) at the same time and they’ll always be in sync with each other.

Thanks for the response! Yes, that was what I was getting at; I have the handle and body as separate subtools. Ok, so create a bounding box…that answers the first question. The next question is how do I use it? lol (still a total beginner). Do you know of a tutorial that would help with this specifically?

Hi @Will_Stone

Here is one.
