Need Help Splitting Model and Closing Holes

Hello,

New to the board but have been using Zbrush for a couple months now. I just finished a model that I would like to 3d print but I need to print it into two parts. The problem I am having is closing the open holes after I split the model with the desired active points that I am at. Here are some pictures with model split without the holes filled.

I originally split the model into two separate polygroups and then I chose split by group in subtools. This gave me the two perfect sides that I wanted to export. Now with both sides, I go into modify topology and close holes but the open portions of the object are creating some unwanted vertices. I would post pictures but since I am a new member on the board I don’t have permission to upload or attach :frowning:

Now if I dynamesh the object, I get the bottom of the objects filled but a lot the details on the objected are altered, and when I choose higher resolutions to fix this, the higher active counts crash my computer when using Decimation Master. Plus the main area that it fills, doesn't quite leave behind the clean vertices that closing holes does in the subtool section. Please reach out if you have any recommendations or solutions. I apologize in advance if this is a confusing post. Look forward to hearing back.

Kindest Regards!
