Need help, looking for links to FREE Kids art programs and

I am a dial up user, so going thru the freebies (which are not all art programs) hangs me a lot, and has been booting me.

I am looking for a ton of ppl art programs that are free with good ways of how to use, for kids 6 years old and up.

These kids love art (I am in contact with there parents, which is how I know), but they do not have the money to just buy a art program.

I am not talking about drop the bucket of paint, I am talking about a true art program, painting mostly. And yes, they like monsters, and fairies, and sci-fi, all the stuff we like to do too, even landscapes (flowers, etc).

If you could post links to free art programs that are geared mainly for kids 6 and up, I would appreciate it.

I have tried going thru the freebies section, but as said, I keep freezing and getting booted off.

I did find one such cool one, Pixia I think. The older children would love this program (and adults too, as I was interested in what I was seeing in the galleries before I got booted LOL).

So Please if you have the links, or know of any free ones, can you post the links here, so I can let many other parents know about them.

All of the mentions here have been terrific for kids. Tablets are the way to go for computer art though. I paid $60 for mine new. It is an Acecad Flair usb wireless 4x5 inch. Have never had a problem with mine, 1024 levels of sensivity means it is no childs toy, but the manufacturer’s website atcually states that this is one of the best tools for kids to learn on, and the parents can do some cool stuff with it too. I would suggest the parents getting the smaller versions for their kids. 2x3 inches should suit the kids, and possibly the adults too. Check out these links.
