Natural Media PS Tool Palette (Free Download)

I posted this in my wip thread as well - but this is a better place to
put it I think. I created a custom tool palette for Photoshop
(in Adobe Configurator) that references some natural media
tools I made - I find it really useful for sketching. Seeing as almost
everything I flesh out in 3d starts as a sketch, I figured maybe
some people here could find some use for it too.
(sharing is caring right?)

One of the cool things about this is that the palette references
Tools under the Tool Presets palette, so you have the option to
customize and overwrite any of the presets any way you want.
As long as the Tool has the same name, you’re golden.

A couple tips on getting a more natural experience with your WACOM. This is totally personal, but it works well for me: 1. Set mapping mode to MOUSE 2. Acceleration to OFF 3. Speed to the second tick (near SLOW) 4. Tip sensitivity to the second to last tick (near FIRM) 5. Tape a piece of paper over your tablet (who draws on plastic?) This essentially gives you consistent spatial relation between tablet and screen which can be fine tuned with the speed setting. Anyrate, enjoy! ------- []![NK_STANDARD_guide.jpg|1200x918](upload://lmiXCwvcvwE9YMwumYL97LqB8Df.jpeg) Download here (right-click to save as): [http://www.nkurence.com/NK_STANDARD.zip](http://www.nkurence.com/NK_STANDARD.zip) Original post [here](http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showpost.php?p=548060&postcount=58)

You can’t use this on Photoshop CS?

You might be able to load up the Tool presets (.tpl file) in an older version… but the palette will only work in CS4 - as I believe the flash based panel system is new to that version.

That being said, I haven’t tried it to know for sure.

I don’t remember if the brush dynamics / pattern stamp tool were the same that far back (CS) - that kind of change would be the only thing I can think of that would prevent the .tpl file from being loaded into an old version of PS.

You’re welcome to try it. Am curious if it would work actually…
