NAMOR wip

I´ve started this namor model, any crit ideas or anything will be apreciated  1.jpg

Mice start, it reminds me of a Alex Ross painting. Cant wait to see more.

Thanks a lot for the nice words man, here comes an update!!

Namor is a great band.

Haven´t heard of it, what kind of music do they make?

Hi guys a little advance, crits are very welcome, still lots of work to do…3.jpg

Looking really very good. I know that there is mention that the Submariner had gills…it might be something cool and unique to add to your sculpt ^^ Cant wait to see it progress.

the last render looks awesome. almost like a statue. the sculpting is very nice

Thanks a lot for the replies!!

Nubus-Thanks a lot man, I´ve been thinking of adding the gills, but not sure about where should I put them, maybe you could help me out with it, please share your ideas with me!!

soulty666- Thank you very much man, really glad you like it.

Here is the last stage of the sculpting, can´t wait to get him textured!!

id say, round out the tricepts and bring them down a touch. bulge the shoulders a bit and round them. smooth the neck muscles they should be a straight line from the collar bone to the back of the ear like a cord, and define the side of the face like you have the front. and under the feet, the arch needs to be fleshed out a tad more…

the torso looks spectacular, i dont think u need to do a thing or the front of the face. spot on. minor smoothing to the model and id say it will be amazing.

This is just great, mindblowing stuff.
your male modelling is awesome.
Howd you started?..plz help me as i also really want to make models like these.

“Nubus-Thanks a lot man, I´ve been thinking of adding the gills, but not sure about where should I put them, maybe you could help me out with it, please share your ideas with me!!”

I think perhaps below and behind the ear but if you want to go a little further out there subtly place them between the obliques and the latts overlapping and blending into the obliques.

Hi guys, thanks a lot for the crits!!

mjolnir- Thanks man, I´ve tryed to improve the things you said

kaushikshashwat- Hi body, I apreciate a lot your kind words!! I usually start with a really simple basemesh, this time I made mine on max, but you can download same around the web. The I start to sculpt trying to get the proportions of the body and of course de right placement of the mass of the muscles and bones. Then I go for a retopology and later I´start adding more detail to it… Hope this helps you, When I get some time I´ll try to post some pics about this ok?

Nubus- That´s what I thoughtm but wight now I´m feeling tired of the sculpting, and will probably move on forward to the texturing stage, thanks a lot for sharing man!

Here is I hope the last sculting pass before going into texturing:

Very good anatomy-modeling! I can’t w8 to see the render

@jmturbo-Thanks a lot brother.

your latest update is quite fascinating, specially the exaggeration of folds you put at intersection of ur abs and external obliques. Your character is now looking a lot leaner.

But still i wanted to ask how you started your sculpting in zbrush??
(male modelling). As these days i have also started to make male models but they are all having proportions problems and i am still learning all the muscles placement and all. That’s the way you went too or you followed some other way to achieve present level of detail in your model?

I just jumped into zbrush with low-intermediate knowledge of muscles and started sculpting.

Sorry for the delay in posting advances, just couldn´t fint time.

Dr Morph- Thanks a lot man!!

kaushikshashwat- Thanks a lot mate. The most important, and dificult thing to do in the model is getting the proportions and placement of the muscles in the rigth place. So when I start sculpting this is the first thing to do. Take your time on low subdivision levels until you defintily looks good without detail. Detailing the muscles and veins and this things is just a 10% of the work. The first part is most important, because with out it the detailing is useless. I´ll try to post a little of my workflow when I get the time. Anyway, I´m not a sculpting master or anything like it, this is just the way I aproach at my sculting…

Here is an advance:
