Mystery Woman WIP (Nudity)

Hey all. I wanted to start a seperate WIP from my other stuff for this female I am working on. I know who I want her to be but I don’t really want to reveal it yet at this juncture in time. Here is where I am at so far. This is a few hours of work and was modeled from z-spheres. I messed up and forgot to save a morph target so now I am having trouble re-syming her. Ah well, I will figure it out. I know her anatomy needs a lot of work still, I will post more asap! I hope you enjoy!

Hey,

I’m new to Zbrush ( 1 weekend so far) so do you build up a zsphere model piece by piece and then add to the polymesh preview each time. Maybe that’s where I went wrong on my first model. I have LW and Silo but only did my first organic head model in ZBrush.

BTW looks good the way it’s all shping up. Look forward to seeing more. Any advice to a real newbie to this would be helpful as well. I’ll keep watching your posts and see how it all shapes up.

Hey 10n6, thanks for the comments. I am fairly new to zbrush myself, and brand new to the 3d world. I have only had the program since Xmas. Yeah, you build zsphere upon zsphere until you have a basic armature of what you want. You hit “a” on the keyboard to see what it will look like in “clay”. You can also make it an adaptive skin to tweak around and then keep adding to it. Then when you have it where you want it make the polymesh 3d, subdivide and go to town. Always do most of your large sculpting in a 1-2 subdivision lvl and add more and more finite details as you move up in subdivision lvls. I reccomend reading the tutorials forums on here and keep talking to members. I learned most of what I know from people on here. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your work in the future!
