Hey ho, this is my smallest ZBrush work to date !
Working with boolean tools and my 3D printer.
For the recent superbowl, I sculpted this monsterclay superbowl character for my client “Stiegler”.
While working with the monsterclay, I had to find a solution to create the primitive leather structure for the football.
Using ZBrush and my 3D printer, I was able to create a small pen tip.
I attached the 3D pen tip to a piece of wood which turned out to be a very handy tool.
With this small pen tip, I was able to press tiny circles into the monsterclay preventing me from having to scratch it out with clay tools and making a big mess.
I have to admit that it was a bl
dy annoying job having to do thousend of dots
…it took forever
In the end I was happy with the simple leather structure and my character and so was the client.
