My New Project

3D Studio Max

So far Ive worked on this little guy for about an hour. But thanks to some techniques I learned in Z Ive actually gotten a lot further than any of my previous attempts at making heads in Max. This was created from a simple Sphere, then manipulated vertices by vertices, polygon by polygon.

I need some 3DS Max tips, if you have any. Comments and Suggestions are welcome.

Patience, Dude! Patience! You’re not being ignored, just people are busy nowadays, you know? :rolleyes: Give it a couple days or so, expecially when a lot of people have a three-day weekend.

I’ve never tried to sculpt faces in 3DS Max, so I have no frame of reference, but what you’ve done looks pretty cool so far. I really like your Haunted Basement image, and your tank looks good and the shotgun has TONS of potential(needs more details!) And Johnny the Homicidal Maniac WAS way cool, but Kathy already told you that. Keep at it. That program is so widely used in the television, movie, and gaming industries, you can’t go wrong knowing how to use it well. Knowledge is power. Get more and more powerful.

When I can afford it maybe you’ll be able to give me some Max tips.

LOL yeah this Part of the Forum doesn’t get alot of traffic.

You should also understand that if you come to ‘ZBrush Central’ a lot of people are going to be more interested in ZBrush, than Studio MAX…I removed Rev3 from my computer for instance, precisely because I didn’t like the 3-view, mechanical approach to art.
I’m sure if this forum was a mainly MAX site, you would have all kinds of replies…
