Looks like you’re having a lot of fun! I know the feeling. I just learned about Zbrush at the beginning of last week. Keep taking your time learning and experiencing the tools ZBrush has to offer and it really starts to get wild
Yep you can say that again Having ALOT of fun! This Z brush is Briliant! Thanks for the reply
Ok stil trying to get a better working flow with this mouse i have (cant wait for my wacom tablet in 2 days! ) but i am getting there…
This time i created again just a simple Zspere and i thought by myself HELL…lets see what you can make from this today boy!
…result after a couple off hours…lmao!
Even though this also isnt anything what can be labeled as realism/beautyfull…i just HAVE to say…in just a few hours creating this… there is NO WAY i could do that as fast in any normal 3d program!
3d modeling has become so much easier to do now i KNOW i can just DRAW 3d!
thinks about the possibilites
<—and quickly decides to continue his lessons

Yeah, it gets to you dont it…hehehe another zaddict bytes the dust…so to say…if youre going with the strechy cat suit…your getting there.
Keep up the posts on the work in progress.
i most devenitly will Thanks for the comments btw!..gonna make this treath into a pile of Wips from Z i think…till i get better.
…oh and yes…it blowed up my point to point modeling brain after i had found out:lol:
Keep it up, I’ve started a thread similar to yours showing progress on my own first Zbrush modeling attempt. ZAddict is certainly a good work for it. Good god this program is fun.
 looks above This says it all for every no0b (like myself)who have never tried out Zbrush 2!
ok more updates from me later tonight thx for all the comments…sadly i have to go to work now
<–wants to Z 24/7 IMHO
If not finding out about ZB’s power up till now bugs you, wait until a year from now when your still finding out what tools do, and things that take it to about 10 other levels. Trust me you have no idea, or maybe you do, but that was the case for me. I’ve had it for “i don’t know” must be almost 2 years, and I feel like I am using it at it’s potential for the first time now.
Let me share with you one of the biggest things that took me a looonggg time to figure out, and even then I only learned it, after someone pointed it out to me.
Under document menu, make your document big, draw your stuff, then use the AA half button to view it at a final rez… makes a huge detail difference.
GOOD luck, and Happy Z-brushing!
LOL spaceghost!
Thx for pointing that out btw!..didnt knew that render AAhalf from Z either, Happy that thx to you i didnt have to wait 2 years before i had found out about this  *had me clicking F9-F9-F9 all the time cause that is the render button from Lightwave lmao  *
looks…indeed different now  :

Ah…after i came from work today i was wondering:
Can i make a face on my char without a Zsphere for it in the basemesh???
So i opened Zbrush opened up that catsuit file from the basic simple Zsphere model …and started to LITERLY DRAW myself a face…
results in 45 minuts:
<–gos back to his Z study;)

Well…today was kinda weird…urk… Well i had a talk with someone at work today and we talked about aloot of 2d/3d art and stuff…then…it had to just come to a point that i had to talk about the 8 wonders in the world…he said 8? i thought there only where 7? lmao…nah i said, nr 8 is most DEVENITLY the big Z from Zbrush!
After i told him all about it he offcourse wanted to see a little demonstration at my place.
after 10 minuts i got the dude HOOKED and he is probably now saving money to get Z
Anyway during my little demonstration instead of using that catsuit model to build on again i used the same based Zsphere and starting something new…after that 10 minuts demonstration…and he left, i just came back to my pc and thought Urk? whats this?..hmm…this looks kinda interresthing…
And i decided instead of working on my last wip to just keep working on this one and go with the flow, here is the result after 6 hours :D:

keep at it Art :)
I will, Thx for the reply
Again today after work i had a little TO MUCH fun with Z! Lmao!
After creating again another simple Zsphere i decided to this time create myself just for fun again another face (after the disaster with the first little face i created for that catsuit model i devintily wanted a next try )
Result after 5 hours:
I think i will call it my Evil Killer Clown or some sort
Well its stil no0b stuff offcourse but this just proof for me that Z is the one to make my characters with and that I NEED MY WACOM TABLET NOW!!! I HATE DELAYS!!! gets a gun
Other then that…cya next time with another -=no0b=- wip…
VERY SOON!

Happy i could maid you laugh over my remarks i cant help it…its just that as much as i maid you laugh just as much FUN and PLEASURE i get from Zbrush!
THE BEST 3d PROGRAM EVER!!!
I have drawned from the age of 9 and when i became 19 i got a glimps of poser 4 (back in the days) and immidiatly wanted to try it out..but a year or 2 later pretty soon that program motivated me to do my own 3d art grapics.
So i was soon searching for a good 3d program and found my first love called Lightwave.
I have been learning to use Lightwave little over 2 years now...yep the whole point to point modeling process etc etc..i can make pretty decent work in there now and i still love that program but...It can NEVER compair itself the way i feel about Zbrush!( i found Z out a few months ago and was able to use just 5 days ago)
The quickness to do a 3d drawing in here is just to unbelieveble!
it just downgraded hondreds of point to point modeling hours with one single stroke! lmao! :grimacing:
So before i will make a quick basemesh to export from lightwave into Zbrush i decided to first learn ANYTHING Zbrush have to offer me starting with Zspheres, as you can see ;)
And since then the partie never stopped and i dont think it ever will now..i have found my answer! because it is just Perfect because of the fact that now all these years of drawing i can transfer into Zbrush really easy and with that 3d modeling exp i got from Lightwave it is just a gived from -=*Halle*god*luja*=-!
So like i said earlier i am going to transform this treath in a pile of Wips from Zbrush ;)
Tomorow after work i will detail that clown somemore and indeed its a good idea to make the chin even longer, you spot that good thx for the crit!
Ok i think i need to go to bed now cause i am starting to think Zbrush is a little to addictive Muhahaha!
thx for reading.
Best creativily regards,

PS
Thank you for welcoming me and there is no need for apoligies what so ever Ron Harris. Not at all but thanks for the wurries. appreciated
Pssst
I STILL dont know what that female creatior i made earlier is btw maybe i should turn that thing upside down to find my answer
zbrush is only a “little” too addictive when you start dreaming zbrush, wonder how you could do that in zsphere’s when looking at one of the seven wonders of the world in person, take the family portrait…get the pictures back and all you see are really tight skin shots for use as alphas…then ya might need to join the lost I am a zaddict thread to begin your recovery…nahhhhhhhh just keep zzzzzing.
Lol aminuts:
hehe sooooooo true i will keep on Zbrushing no matter WHA!
cause even if (what i really hope for) dont find a job in this cg world…i just love it waaay to much…i love creating things from scratch in to something…i love creating things what came right out of your own fantasie…i just love that you can have the abilitie to creat anything…and i mean a n y t h i n g you want just by drawing it…its freedom…in its purest form. and it is even more wonderful to let other people enjoy that fantasie//freedom true out animation, because that in the end can make people feel better and let them grow true out your art.
I have Drawn this without even ANY reverence in less then 2 hours right out of my 2 cents:
