My first nude female

Hello guys,

It’s been sometimes, I tried to study to make a human model with a good anatomy. My intention is to create normal female model.
Since this is my first time, I need a critics, comments or suggestion?
It will help me to improve myself.
I’m planning to make the hair, clothes or shoes later on.

really nice!.. only thing that bugs me is imo i think the mouth and nose need to come out more

Hi Yonito, not bad for your first female sculpt!
It looks like you need help with your proportions, use your character’s head to measure it:
8 heads for average person
*8.5-9 for models or taller characters
*9-10 stylized characters
*please correct me if I’m wrong. lol

Your lady character looks 10 heads tall, aside from that you might also want to look for photo reference for your projects e.g. people, skeletons, whatever you may need to get to what you want to do;).

Hi d_thumb, thanks for the opinion.

To make sure that I make a good proportions,
First, I measure it in maya with creating the plane for my base mesh
(zbrush digital sculpting human anatomy by scott spencer) and
Second, I used this guide line from the zbrush forum.
Is it looks right? Let me know if I’m wrong.

SA_22: Thanks, hope you can see it better now.

I just did some tuning with the detail on the body
May be it will be better to see it near.

you jumped into details to quickly, you need to get your basic forms down first. her anatomy is not right in so many places, get a lot of reference.:):)

Hi 3D Mob thanks for the crits,

I used many references to check the female body.
If you don’t mind, can you tell me which part is not right!?
I will need to improve it.

I know, I still need to practice my eyes more, but it’s good to know my mistake.

cheers

i think you could make the shoulders less wide… and her ass is alil to rounded at the top. keep going tho its getting better

She appears to be leaning forward, you can make the body arch a bit more. Her gluts have a more round shape, they generally look (from the rear to be more butterfly shaped) and they stick out to far, but it’s a nice go for a first attempt.

Not sure what reference you are using, but 6.5-7 heads is average not 8 or whatever. * is used more for superhero size. However the head size is also artist preference if the proportions are correct. Good luck with it.

Everything dude, like look at how the muscles fall on the bones and where they begin and end. Like your fingers are not proportioned to your the palm of the hand. they are also to thin, and there is not enough tissue on them. Nails look huge for the fingers, the hand overall looks like it was decaying. Pelvis is very wrong, the adominal and pubic area are not right. Legs you are doing the cylindrical cone, because muscles like the rectus femoris, vastus lateralis and vastus medialis muscles aren’t coming through. the Sartorius muscle is not there either which gives the leg a shape that doesn’t make it look like the thigh is coned. The adductor longus muscle also is bigger on women. there is just so much. Do you draw? I’d recommend taking the time for a life drawing class and drawing the human form before jumping into sculpting.
