My first gamework released!

I wanted to share a project I did last summer that is just now coming out. While it is not a video game, it is a board game and ZBrush was my main weapon.

It is the Curious George Discovery Beach Game.

I was responsible for creating dozens of sculpts for the game pieces. Please note that all of these are oversized and are actaully created at about 1/2 inch.

I built simple base meshes in Maya and then worked out the details in ZB. Always mindful of production undercuts.

very cool, i always love to see stuff like this. any pics of the actual product?

Ah thats cool. So cool to use ZB for practicle objects.

Thanks, it is lots of fun. This is the kind of stuff I would like to pursue more.

Here is a shot of the box:

Doesnt show off the pieces to well (visible in bottom right window), but I will post a better image of the final product once I get my copy.

Hi Codeman! Simple but elegant! Nice little worx, thanks for posting :+1: !

Thanks. I had to make sure the detail still read when it was so tiny so I focused on form with a few key details, all while staying within the Universal Studios design guide.

A few of the pieces where not used on the final product. The camera, hat, chair, picnic basket & sand castle where going to be puzzle knobs so they are a bit different.

The rest had to slide around in the unique box with slender passages, so the objects had to look good but still be kind of flat.
