wacom is little expensive for me
is there any other companies makes these Tablets ?
thanx
Saki
There are several companies out there. Although I can’t recommend any particular one, you could do a search on Yahoo for graphics tablets.
Hi Saki,
Yes, they are a little pricey, but they are well worth it.
You won’t know yourself when you try ZBrush with a tablet.

I have my second wacom, the first lasted for three years intensive use, the lowerst range is adequade for most cases, I have tried the (Indos) and now using (Graphire). definitely worth the value.
A useful tips for every one; put a thin mirror on top of your tablet and your pen will glide smoothly on the surface.( mirror is smoother then transperent glass ).
Thank all of u for replying my question,
i ll check the web for “graphics tablets”
i think i ll bought graphire.
and i won’t forget to use mirror. (thank u filip for your tip )
If I were you would buy Cintiq but it is about $3,500. I think it is too much and it is about 5 times expensive than 18" LCD.
I bought TabletPC for many reasons. Able to bring it to work, wireless, communicate to hearing people with it, it has text to speech and speech to text with Ms Office, draw with ZBrush and other applications.
I have Tablet with no LCD at home. I never like to use it because of cursor control problem. It is difficult to use Pen and look at LCD in other place. It is just like a hand rubbing on stomach and other hand slamming on top of head. If you practice and you will get used to it but not good as if you had tablet with LCD built in.
My exprience with TabletPC is very good. I made several 3D scupltures in 1 day. When I was scuplturing 3D models, my eyes are alway on the pen pointer and LCD. I can move, punch, pull, paint on it exactly where I want it.
I am considering to buy Wacom Cintiq. I really think that it should cut the price in half. Wacom won’t reduce the price just because it is patented against other manufacturers from making Tablet LCD for desktop PC.
Filip very good tip I definately will try it!!
I don’t have enough money to buy Cintiq .
what is the diffrence
Wacom Graphire2 and Wacom Volito
Volito is much cheaper and only has 1 programable pen button
is there any other diffrences. ??
Is it enough for me drawing everything that i can ?
HAPPY NEW TO ZBRUSH ZFRIENDS
Regards,
Saki
Hi Saki
A Volito for the price is sufficent for quasi all works if you are not a professional
(you have painter Classic inside : okay Zbrush makes the same
Works fine for any program From Excel to Zbrush!!!
And a little funny thing : more silent than a mouse when you “Clic” !!!
Very practical when everybody sleep around you
Have happy Voiliting!
