Having a Issue with MME. Got my UV’s, Polypaint and everything set up for it but when it generates the maps I get errors in the maps and seems like it generates extra UV tiles of some sort. I did a Manual Texture from Polypaint and it generates fine but when I use MME all the errors occur on all the maps. I’ve done Intialize and closed and reopened Zbrush with no effect to the error, it still occurs. The image below demonstrates whats going on.
Errors like these are typical of UVs that extend right to the edge of the UV space. Because there are points on the border the distortion occurs and you get extra maps from MME. Scale the UVs down slightly and all should be well.
I’m no expert but it also looks like you have points welded between UV isalnds. I have seen that happen in some UVs I’ve created, and have yet to some up with a cause or solution.
