:) Muhahahahahaha

I just purchased a Intus 2 Wacom

I know ya all did not think I would do it, but it was just stalled by a few days

It should arrive in 5-10 business days.

Feeling good here

Mandy

Congratulations, and I hope it works out well for you.
Also, I don’t know if they are still doing it, but they had an arrangement with Corel to include a tryout of their Painter 8 program which you might also like.
Best of luck with it.

It had elements of adobe photoshop and painter from coral elements.

Funny that 9x12 did not have all this, and I would have gotten that larger size, but it was these other features that I wanted, so I went with the 6x8

Too bad, when looking at the chart, it did not say that the airbrush would work with ZBrush. Else I would have gotten that too.

Thanks Rtyer

Uh oh …

Northstarr inspired me to make room and plug mine in again

Juandel quoting (I believe) Southern says: ā€œZBrush without a tablet is like swimming with socks onā€

For modeling or painting, variable stroke width is the cat’s pajamas

And if there are cases where you want to use the tablet pen with a fixed brush size, I think you can deactivate Prefs :small_orange_diamond: Tablet :small_orange_diamond: Use Tablet

And for an airbrush effect, it’s just a matter of selecting or making an appropriate alpha brush and the right RGB intensity

Tablet PC or Tablet with LCD built in is like swimming with fins.

I have Tablet PC and it is much better than bare tablet. I am drooling over Wacom Cintiq (waiting for it to cut in half price). I have Graphire and I never used it. Filip suggested to put a thin mirror on tablet to be able to see images with pen. I will try it on this weekend.

@Kitty >>> FINALLY!!!

And - looking into my magic cube - what I see is you, running to get the other pen (there’s a lot of them!) because you will discover, that not only ZBrush takes great profit from working with your new gear!!

On the other hand: the ā€œnormalā€ pen: depending on what programm is in use >>> you can simulate working with sprays by tilting the pen. The more tilt, the more particles of your paint will be spread. Nice for doing fog, hair, etc.

Only bad part of using a WACOM: it is known that you can do PERFECT modelling with it, so…!!!

Congrats on getting a Wacom! You’ll love it, I’m sure. I remember getting my first tablet about 2 years ago, and now I couldn’t live without it.

I use the pen in everything, even though I don’t need to. I just like the feel and control of it. No more mouse for me.

Hopefully you’ll pick up the the use of the tablet and pen pretty quick.

Have fun!

Hi Kitty
If you love to draw with a pencil or a brush, no doubt that a graphic pen delight you!
Size of the tablet surface is not important, it’s the brain who make all the adaptation!
Don’t see your fingers just the screen
And have happy graphic pen Zbrushing!

ps And of course happy new year!
