MudpuppySaurus

The name is silly I know, but I was inspired by Mark Boulay (sp?) on his Z3 images thread… http://www.pixolator.com/zbc/showthread.php?p=345116#post345116

Thought mine ended up looking more like a mud puppy from the river 'cept with teeth… lol…

Lots of practice needed to catch up to the talented MB for sure.

thnx for looking

I figured this creature swam and hunted in shallow muddy waters…even stagnant pools…where boney scavenger fish might have school and made for easy prey.

I swear I saw one of those a couple of years back in Center Hill Lake.

I tell you, Ron, I wish I was in Tennessee right about now. Except for the Chiggers, and the Brown Recluse, it really is a nice state. People are nice, too. I couldn’t stop for smokes without sparking up a little conversation.

Hey, Ron, I love Mudpuppysaurus! You should do more of these. I bet they like Catfish. 50.

Heck body n’all lol!

Great stuff Ron,
Talk about being blown away with all the zb3 work huh!I bet your dying to get on it!
cya pal,
cal

thnx ya’ll…it was a fun piece and gave me a little break from “horror” (a very short break…muhahhahaha) Definitely not the greatest dino for sure. Mark’s work was so kewl though…so I had to doodle around…a dino head is hard for me, because mine always end up with a silly ****e eating grin on it’s face with pitiful teeth etc…and I painted this thing using the color markings of a large mouth bass…lol…now what I am looking forward to is making another one with z3 and using or getting the skin effect that Monstermaker got on his batcave image and the zombie tongue…very kewl convincing skin imho.

lol, JB…I have seen some alligator gar in the southern waters here and in Arkansas that looked something like an old aquatic dino…very kewl fish. Lots of teeth…

Yeah we have alot of parasitic creatures here…we also have a lot of black widow spiders…I have pics around here somewhere of some I kept in jars as pets for a very very long time…fed em’ flies and rolly pollies…aka pill bug aka sow bugs… Brown recluse and the ticks and chiggers are fierce down here. Wear lots of deet spray. And the snakes we have here arent that impressive…now where I grew up in northwest Arkansas, now those things were “Discovery channel huge”. People around here see a foot long copperhead or a 3 foot cottonmouth, they get all panicky. I used too as a teen and youngster, catch 6 footers regularly…they are fun to snag while fishing… And thank you…people here are pretty friendly…good ole southern hospitality. I don’t play a banjo though…lol

Thnx Rich, my friend…(hope life is going good for ya…) Havent seen you too much lately…so I hope that means you are making a ton of $$$$$$$$$$$$$…yeah I was also thinking they prolly ate alot of catfish…I have seen gators eat alot of catfish in shrinking streams and pools…so I am sure this guy of mine probably has them on his menu…though I doubt he could do much damage to the Mekong Catfish…they are monster size…6-9 feet long…

thnx again all…always nice to hear when ppl like your work.
