Hi,
I have been studying “likeness” and it´s one more attempt. I´ve still make some details on head, maybe on the proportions, I would like opinions about it.
My intentions is finish it, as I said crits and comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Alan

Side view is spot on, front view is not as good but still, we can recognize him w/o problems. Maybe widen the head a bit.
McFly_ Hi dude. Yes, you´re totally right about it. I made some changes and fix it . Thanks for the comment
Here is one more update!

Stunning work,Ive got to try something like this sometime.I can see the real face seems to gravity pull down more than your model little ,the eyes and his symetry could do with a little push/pull for perfection.Just my observation but I can say alot and not do it myself!Brilliant so far, 5 stars minimum here, cal
Nice job Alan. Need some work on the mouth and chin. Great likeness though. Recognized him off the first pic. Perhaps the eye sockets are set to far back, althought it could be your lighting.
Keep it up.
on your reference image I noticed the eye to the right doesnt match your 3d model everything else is---->
calum5ZB Hi buddy. Yes, I´ve need fix some parts of model and you said correct about the lights. On the reference the is a front light is front and on ZB not. I will be waiting for your test . Thanks mate.
Elixir - Yes, as I said before, I still need to some improvements on the model. Thanks buddy
v)olotov Hi buddy. Good observation, Perhaps can be the expression, on the reference he is smiling. Thanks for your comment dude
Yesterday I played with Zbrush and did my first render on Zbrush, man the result is mpressive, the shader and light are amazing. Well, but as I said, I still need work on the model. I hope you like it.

Looking pretty good. I know Likeness is never easy- but here are some crits if you are interested:
The nose seems to be a good start but unfinished- in the 3 quarter view it appears flattened.
The Jaw looks a bit thin- I think as it goes back toward the ear you might want to look at fattening up the face a little- also maybe look at fattening the face in general
The area under the eye- the bags of his eyes- seem wrong for Morgan freeman. There is a kind of upside down pyramid that sits under his eyes, and the wrinkles might be a bit over done (I guess it depends on the photo you are using)
The mouth looks maybe too short- not quite wide enough- it makes his lips have a strange expression.
The biggest issue I see- more asymetry. I see some- but I think the chin/mouth could use more.
Once again- I appreciate the challenge of this model- good luck, I think it is coming along nicely.
Craig
Hey Alan ! Great job here !
It seems that you love using the new ZB !
Great work - check lips pls. I guess upper lip should be more thin and lower bigger. I’ll check on progress - looks good so far!
Alancamara… I agree with calum5ZB about some small bugs to fix but the works finally I think is good…
Only my 5 cents… I think that you can improve the texture because for my taste it looks a bit “alien”… I know that sound wrong from a person like me that isn’t accustomed to texture nothing…
Also… keep your work
comic_craig Hi Graig, thanks a lot for yours comments I will make some adjustments and pot here. Thanks again for the suppport
gpepper - Hey Gilles, how are you my friend. Yes, I don´t get stop to play with Zbrush. Thanks my friend!
miztli It´s one of details that I need to fix. Thanks buddy
piz Thanks, I´ll fix it too, thanks buddy.
Here is the process of modelling.

nice one dude. very good likeness. with the hair it will be even closer.
texture could use some more saturation perhaps
Hi guys, thanks a lot for the comments and tips.
After a long time, (a lot of work here) I´m posting here the last update of Mr. Freeman.
I´ve started with shader and textures on maya, also something of hair, but I´ve still need to work more. As I said before, both modeling and textures done on Zbrush

Man, you’ve done an excellent job on the eyes. Those are always tough to do and make them look good.
Nice job.
ok thats a VERY good likness…real nice suttle details…i would crit that he looks to white and not enough black…and the jacket looks to smooth , if its post to be cow skin that is…but i love the depth you have to the face and skin…very well executed… man it looks so real…peoples skills have come on in leaps and bounds in that past 5 years… you have got the skills…your there now…you can only get better from now…well done… remember “we only keep what we have by giving it away”…so share the process,s and enjoy in the glory that you have reached a place harder to get to than the summet of everest…WELL DONE
I agree about it being a good likeness. Immediately recognizable. Morgan Freeman skin color is darker and he has a lot of freckles.
