Move Gimbal and Projection issue

So, I’m trying out using the ‘project on mesh’ feature to rough out a model and am having a problem where the projected texture is being projected onto the move gimbal. It also causes the gimbal to become unselectable. So if I want to move something I have to turn off the projection or rotate the view until the projection fades away. Any solutions?

You can use the Tool>Deformation>Offset slider instead. Set the axis by clicking the little x,y or z on or off. This will allow you to move the model without having to turn on the Gizmo.

I will tell the developers about this problem with the Gizmo.

Thanks. It would be nice to have the ‘project on mesh’ feature work with the gimbal. I did figure out another workaround for now. I turn off the projection and turn on the ‘front’ toggle under Draw> in the floor grid section.
