I am looking for a move brush with a peak shaped falloff instead of a bell shaped.
Any hints to a brush which gives such an effect, even better lets you controll the
falloff curve?

You can change it in the Brush palette > Curve sub-palette. Make sure “AccuCurve” is turned on.
