Move brush issue. I can't move as far as I want.

Here is my problem: When I use the move brush, I click and drag to have the deformation I want, but at a certain distance from where I clicked, the deformation stops. If I need to go farther, to build a tail for example, I need to click and drag several times because the move tool seams to have a “distance range” or something. Can someone help me? Is it clear when I explain?

Thank you!

This can happen if the model is very large, or sometimes if it is very small.

Thank you. It’s problematic. What if I want to make a giant?
In my workflow I make a mesh in maya that is about the size of the thing I want to make and then, goZ. In that case 200 cm. It doesnt seem to be “very large”. I guess I’ll have to use the move tool with masking…

Size in a digital space is purely subjective. It is YOU who puts importance on whether something is 6 mm, 6 m or 6 km in size. To the computer, there’s really no difference.

You can create or otherwise work on your giant in ZBrush at whatever size works best for sculpting and then when you take it into Maya you can scale it to the proper size relative to the human in the scene.
