morph target in zbrush

Hey guys,

I’m new here so I don’t know if this is the right place to post this.

I have a car body that will morph into a new body. unfortunatly those two models have different poly count so I cannot use the easy morph in 3ds max. I tried all the solutions in max but nothing worked.
I saw a morph target video and i thought maybe this will help.

Anyone has any idea if I can import those 2 bodies and try to sculpt on over the other then export it back to max and use the normal morph?

Thanks guys

The two models would need to have the same poly count in ZBrush too. Morph Targets (and 3D Layers) need to have the same topology in order to work.

In ZBrush you can project details from one mesh on to another. But the shapes of the two models need to be roughly the same for this to work well. In order to do what you want, you’d need to move around one mesh so it was as close to the other mesh as you could get. The ZBrush project feature could then be used to ‘clean up’.
