I love it!! some question.

the wireframe version, how many triangles?

the high res shaded version, how many triangles in Zbrush?

last question, did you sculpt the whole thing, as a whole? or was it sculpted seperated?

please make exaktly view to the Mesh ?
Do you see a triangle ?

ZBrush works best with quad-polygons !

Hi, I love the attention to details.
Great stuff. when are you putting your reel up?

well, the base model (crature + objects) is about 80.000 polygons and is made from separated pieces; thz zbrush model was about 6.500.00 polygons and the one rendered in xsi has 400.000; i tried with a displacement map but without is very faster. I mean to use a proxy low poly geometry to animate it in future

Very KOOL Friend,

I love the equipment on him. I would adjust it a bit more to
show weight. Give gravity to the belts it will bring more realism.

But, I like it alot! Great work. Keep it up friend.
Keep it up.

 Love this…

This is such a great work!!! Amazing!!

thx!
this is just the first of four model i mean to show in my shoreel, so i think it will be ready on february or march (but it’s really hard to say a right time at the moment)

thx!
the idea sounds very cool, but i don’t know exactly how to realize it, do u have any suggestion?

yeah man !!!

I love it ! congrats, this is a really great piece !
cool :+1: :+1:
5*

what I said in the title

:+1:

Really nice base meshes, one crits about the horns, need more details (like scratches).

Emmanuel (°_°)

sure, everything in this model needs to be detailed
wait for next updates

i mean to use Zbrush to create all the bump maps for the creature’s armor

About the gravity thing, I think he means that the belts seem to be suspended in the air. Maybe if you had the belts resting heavily on the creatures back it would show more mass and realism. The skin around the belt you could then make it look like something is pushing on it. Really great work though! :+1: :+1: :+1:

to add…or pulling the skin down. Nice work!

well, what u see in this shot is the zbrush generated bump map applied on the creature model and mapped part of the objects;the mapping is near to be finished, then i can start having fun with the bump maps for the armor within Zbrush :smiley:wip-37.jpg

oops! I forgot, there’s no displace in this shot, just the bump
