modeling a sniper

can someone help me model a ghilie suit?
i am still new to zbrush and have a base mesh (my person) and i was tring to get the ghilie hood right and also trying to model a hat wich proved to be harder than i thought this is the suit i am trying to creat[attach=100753]Viper_Hood3.jpg[/attach] [attach=100754]viper31.jpg[/attach]

first off, try not to think of things as what they “are” but what simple geometric shapes they represent, for instance, a hat like he’s wearing could be a half sphere with a rectangle as the lip, or simpler, a cube without a bottom and an edge that’s extended. i suggest attempting some low model box modeling to help you out just overally. but with zbrush you could just take a high res sphere and using masking pulll out the lip of the cap, also could use half a sphere for the hood etc. walk before you run. just try to get the basic shapes down first.
