hi as a working character artist i am curious how many game modelers out there are asked to do rigging?
in my dept i mostly create assets but am occasionally asked to rig. well im not sure if you would even call it rigging, i am provided a skeleton at my work and i do the skin binding and painting of weights. im curious how many other character artists are asked to do this, or do you send that off to a different department?
also i would like to take my rigging knowledge in maya to the next level (im very much a beginner rigger) - does anyone have any particular online tutorial they recommend, or a video?
