Missing 'Open in Spotlight' Button Missing? [Answered]

Hi, I’m teaching myself ZBrush from Ryan Kittleson’s great tutorial on Lynda.com. Every now and then I just come up against a complete brick wall. So to get to Spotlight I’m told I should click on a texture icon on the shelf (LH in default setup) and then in the dialog that opens click the ‘Open Spotlight’ button.

It looks like this in Ryan’s video:

You can see the button at the bottom left hand corner of the dialog. When I try to do this in my freshly installed 4R7 it looks like this:

Same dialog, no button. What’s going on here? Is there some other pre-condition I haven’t cottoned on to?

Update your software. Read some more. Links below my post. Happy ZBrushing.

Thanks Doug, in fact I am already on 4R7 - is there a minor version patch I should get?

In the reference docs it just says in effect - this button is there, press it. But the button just isn’t there for me to press. That’s why I’m posting a question on this forum.

Your first image says ZBrush 4…You’re on a Mac?, there is one patch out you might not have.

The buttons are in the Texture palette. See here:

Thanks Doug, Thanks Marcus - yes indeed there is a patch I should get and yes the button in on the texture palette.

Problem solved!
