Miracle wish Brush

Hello,
I am working away on a sculpt and I am finding myself wishing for a brush that effects a lower level of subdiv, while I see the results at the higher level.
Is there such a brush???

Changes made to the lowest subdivision level will affect the highest subdivision level, although minor adjustments may not be noticeable.

If I’m not understanding you, perhaps you could be more specific?

Best I can offer is to use D(go higher) and Shift+D(go lower); if you’re already maxed out you’ll need Ctrl +D to divide further.

Hi, just to clarify what I mean-
What I would like is to a brush, e.g. a smooth brush, that operates on the he lower subdiv, while i am still looking at the higher level.
This would be very useful for working on fine skin forms without losing sight of the superficial detail which often hold visual cues
Cheers,

It was loud and clear at this end

That isn’t currently possible. You have to have the level that you are smoothing on visible.

Ah I thought as much maybe when processors are ten times faster…
