Miles Morales

Hi everyone.

Today I am presenting a brand new project that is very important to me.
This is Miles Morales, in his realistic version.
I chose to make this character, now so emblematic of the Spiderman universe, because I always liked to read the Spiderman comics. And I remember that the first time I saw this character I immediately saw the potential for power and charisma that he could embody. And having still not had any adaptation of this character on the big screen, I decided to imagine it myself.

I spent a lot of time perfecting this character to the maximum, especially at the level of sculpt, xgen, shader, rig.
I think this is the most comprehensive project I’ve been able to do since I started 3D.

I started sculpting on Zbrush trying to do the reverse of a caricature. Then I got retopos and uvs from R3DS, which allowed me to use xyz map. I then made the textures using substance painter. The clothes were made on marvelous designer. then the rig/ posing/ lighting were done in maya.

In this project, I liked to give the maximum of what I could do, I always seek to improve. I think I learned a lot from this project.
