Migratory Locust

Sculpted and textured this Locust for an Indian film which features an invasion of a Locust swarm destroying the crop. I enjoyed every bit of the process from start to finish. It’s always exciting to learn interesting facts about the subject and understanding its way of life. Of course, there have been few challenges and hurdles during the execution; like the wings!
Took me to the very edge.

And as I am posting this Locust project, there is in fact a Locust swarm invasion happening in India right now for real; to make matters worse during the tough times of Covid 19.
