Michael's Sketchbook

Ok… There are so many great artist here I almost didn’t put this up, but then I thought: Everyone has to start somewhere.
So I’m going to put up some quick sketches :)I fell in love with the trim and polish brushes after seeing that video from Pixologic (with the sci-fi car) So I just quickly sketched out something with QuickSketch and then followed that workflow. I just loooooove modelling with Zbrush. Got my license for Xmas (should rename it to Zmas) And few things makes me happier than just doodeling away with Zbrush! So give it a couple of years and maybe I can post nice work too

Just quick hard surface doodles… spaceships and cars :stuck_out_tongue: ZBrush_sketchBook_1.jpg

Here is another speed sculpt. Started with a sphere yesterday. About two hours worth of work including the hair
I’m considering a patch for one of the eyes.

I realized that I’ve been a member of Zbrush Central since 2004. Which I’m kinda proud of. Now I only wish I’d been a regular practitioner of Zbrush in that time. Alas, I have not. However, the love never died. So… I’m giving it another go. Here is a sketch from today. Spent an hour or two on it. Fun Fact: I used my iPad Pro, with the pencil, running Astropad Studio; which worked quite well.

So… Nothing wild or spectacular, but fun for me at least  Would be a lot of fun to try to get something done daily. And then see where that takes me in 3,6,12 months from now.
