Meta Keys Stopped Working

Hi, I’m a beginner with ZBrush, busy working through the ‘Essentials’ tutorial from Lynda.com. I’ve just noticed that all my meta-key functionality has disappeared. Control-click does not enter mask mode, Command-Z does not undo - every single action controlled by a meta-key is not working.

I’m on mac z4r6.

Why is this happening?

I upgraded to 4r7 and the problem went away. Honestly I couldn’t say if it was ZBrush or my current OSX installation (which seems to have developed a few other quirks). Anyway, problem solved.
