Mesh integrity and visualization of shared vertices, edges and polygons

I just spent a few hours trying to find where my mesh was messed up in preparation for 3d printing.

I used “check mesh integrity, and fix mesh, then dynamesh” over and over to no avail.

I did a deep dive into the model and I finally found the 1 (one!) point being shared by too many polygons and was able to edit the model and make it solid.

I would have saved hours of my time if…
…when I click on “check mesh integrity” I could then click on a button to highlite the questionable geometry so that I could immediately go to the problem area and fix the issues.

Is there a feature similar to this that I am missing somewhere in ZBrush 2022?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

THere is some capacity to view and fix errors in Render:Live Boolean:Show Issues etc. Not sure if the functionality covers your particular case though. Hopefully you’ve saved a copy of the problem mesh to try it out with. For details see ZClassroom with Joseph Drust.

Thanks for the insight. That did help a little but not completely. I will definitely be using that for future checks.

It just seemed logical that when I click on the Geometry/MeshIntegrity/Check Mesh Integrity and it tells me there are “X edges shared by more than two polygons” and “Mesh contains X faces with multiple references to the same vertex.” There should be a button that “Highlights problem areas” in the Mesh Integrity menu.
I mean it’s telling me I have issues but it’s not helping me pinpoint where the issues are.

Thanks again for the tip though, it will definitely help.
