Mesh density problem

Hi,

I have recently tried to merge two tools together [a head to a body] of an animal that I am trying to create this has gone well but after some work I began to notice that the body has a lower mesh density than the head has When I work around the joined area, this difference in poly count meant that I couldn’t sculpt properly and the final mesh result looks odd and not realistic. I would like to get a seamless bond between these two tools with out any imperfections. Is there a way to even out the mesh density in this area?

Thanks for any help.

Regards Zubin

You need to do a remesh (Subtools>Remesh All). Set the res as low as you can and keep the general form of your original, then give it a couple of divisions before your projection. That should equalize out your polygon size and allow you to continue working on it.

This is excactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much
