Merge Maps doesn't work?

It should combine all subtools into single texture if they have non-overlapping UV islands, right?

Sometimes it works and other time does separate textures nevertheless. Especially when I have a lot of UV islands. Do somebody know what maybe a reason?

Maps will only be merged if they:

  1. Are the same size.
  2. Occupy the same UV space (i.e. are all in 0,0 to 1,1, or 1,1 to 2,1, and so on).

thanks, but I have both conditions on and still sometimes multi map exporter does several files instead of single one.

Next time after few touches here and there with same ztool It suddenly works just fine. Wonder what may prevent it from working right all the time?

I don’t know what the problem might be, and I’ve not heard of it before. If you have a model that consistently gives the problem and can upload it somewhere then I’ll take a look.

it’s under NDA and just too huge to upload, but thank you for the offer. Looks like Zbrush doesn’t like unclosed one sided surfaces. Any other subtools combines into single texture just ok.
