Menu scrolling does not work for me when used on a 4k monitor, when I expand the options, I simply cannot use them, because. they are below the screen.
Moreover, scrolling does not work only on the right side - on the tray on the left, scrolling works fine.
Hello @Barrel The first thing I notice is that your UI looks like it has been dramatically upscaled with the Button SIze slider. You may wish to consider reducing that size to fit more items on the screen, or to enable some degree of display scaling in your OS settings for a more comfortable viewing experience.
That said, your UI does not look entirely correct to me even with the extreme button size. There appear to be some elements overlapping that should not be. This does not happen to me on on a 4k display even with max button size. So in that case I suggest setting aside your custom configuration (any custom settings +custom UI), and checking the issue in the default configuration.
If this makes your problem go away, then the problem is something you’re introducing with a setting change or a change to the default UI. You can attempt to recreate your changes step by step and see if you can identify the problem.
If this does not correct your problem, then it is coming from someplace else in your installation environment, and you will need to contact ZBrush support to investigate further.
You can do this by temporarily renaming your ZBrushData2022 configuration folder. On Windows this is found in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents
If you are on Mac it is in \Users\Shared. The easiest way to get to \Users is to be in the Finder and click Go at the top of the screen, then Computer in the pull-down menu. Now in the window that opens, double-click on Macintosh HD. You’ll then see Users as one of the folders.
With ZBrush closed, rename the ZBrushData2022 folder to something like “OLD_ZBrushData2022”. The next time ZBrush starts when it can’t find the folder under the expected name it will recreate it with the program defaults. Restoring your original configuration is as easy as deleting the newly created folder, and restoring the name of the original. Please make sure you are targeting the correct version of this folder if multiple versions of ZBrush are installed.
Please then restart ZBrush, and check the issue with a default configuration and UI. Note that simply loading the default UI after loading a custom UI is not sufficient to eliminate problems that may have been introduced when a custom configuration was loaded. The custom config must not load with the program.
So I would recommend giving that a check and see if it makes your issue go away. If it does, then the problem is due to a setting or UI that you are introducing. If it does not, you’ll need to contact ZBrush Support.
Please note that this is not a Support conversation, and no further assistance will be coming in this thread. I’m going to close this thread to eliminate the expectation of any further assistance here. Technical support for ZBrush cannot be provided over the community usage forums, and other users probably cant help you with system specific issues.
Please contact ZBrush Support for any technical issues with your ZBrush installation.
Thank you!
