Hi there, ok so I’m working on a model thats 11.5mil polys - it’s a shark kinda thing, I polypainted the teeth a different colour so i could make the model as 2 polygroups (body and teeth) so would be easier for the texturing. Once I’d done that I go to click on the groups loops button and it crashes with a memory error saying it cant continue etc, I’ve got 8gb ram so this cant be the issue In the mem settings I’ve got compact mem set to max 4096 and in the bar at the top it says around 3700 free.
The only way I can get it to work is if i change loops to 0 but then polish smooths everything out and destroys all the surface detail, if I turn polish to 0 theres no different at all, trying loops at 1 just makes it crash again. Really dont know what to do now, could this be a bug?
Also is there a way to set the max compact mem higher than 4096, still got plenty more memory for zbrush to use!
