Hi Everyone!
Hya ZBer!
I have been noticing a problem with polygroups and memory in 4r7, both 32 and 64 bit versions that is sort of causing some problems and Im curious if anyone else has this, and if it’s a known issue.
Basicly when I hide more than a couple of PolyGroups all of a sudden ZBrush reports tiny amounts (0.02gb for example) of free memory up in the top of the window. My whole system goes sluggish (at best) and I can’t do much of anything until some random amount of time later when all of a sudden POOF it comes back up to normal.
I would love to include a screenshot but thats a great way to kill Windows when ZBrush has stolen all the ram. I tried, it didn’t work, I had to force reboot.
Cheers!
Mealea
EDIT:
4R6 and below dont do this, sometimes they pause while processing the request you just made, especially if you are working with high density mesh, but 4R7 does this with any mesh, dense or not.
