CGART NEWSFLASH:
The Gnomon Workshop has just released fine art prints of Meats Meier’s artwork on their website. Meier’s work needs little introduction to the Zbrush community. As one of the foremost artists exploring the digital art terrain, Meier’s work takes unique advantage of Zbrush’s Pixol technology, but Meier, as an artist, has transcended technology. His work combines the aesthetic of a New York graffiti artist and an easel painting gallery artist to create a fusion of elements from the urban to the narrative that is singularly unique to his artistry.
In releasing their Artist Poster Series, the Gnomon Workshop has bridged the gap between the artist and his/ her creation. While Meier’s work can be enjoyed freely on the internet, you can now view it in the way the artist originally intended it to be seen.
[font=Century Gothic]“It is a beautiful thing for me to see my Zbrush work the way I see it as I’m creating it, not compressed and de-rezed for the internet.” writes Meats Meier.
His fascinatingly detailed creations beg to break out of the confines of your monitor’s resolution. Even at 27" x 40" you will find yourself inches from the surface of the print scanning the details of his many strange unicorns.
