Maya -> zBrush (Model loses smoothing)

My workflow is zBrush -> Maya -> zBrush.

My issues is when I go from Maya back to zBrush my model imports without smoothing anymore. Here’s a picture of what I mean.

As you can see the model has visable polyfaces now. Why does this happen?

It seems like you are at the lowest subdivision level, what happens if you increase/divide it?

That was it! I was importing an FBX file, so I had no idea they could contain different sub-divions levels so I didn’t even check. Thanks!
