Maya to 3D Max - advice and help needed moving apps

For a project i have coming up for a client I have to use 3DS, I’m a bit rusty on it (been about 18 months since i last touched it) and really need someone to give me a few pointers on how to achive the basic stuff I do in maya. Whereas I have tutorial dvd’s coming out of my backside as far as maya is concerned, max wise I dont have a thing. It’s a bit of an emergancy unfortunatly, so if anyone could help with a bit of advice and answer a few questions it’ll help a lot.

The poly tools in max drive me to distraction, I basically just need help with an example of workflow for standard low poly modellling from a maya perspective. I’m not a newbie to modelling so it should be a simple matter converting over (I hope!)
Thanks in advance.

When I first began learning 3ds Max, the free sample video located >>here<< helped me get going with low poly modeling. It’s very rudimentary, but it may be a good, quick refresher. The video is 19MB.
