Even though I’m no longer taking 3d art as a course, I’m still in school, so i wanted to take advantage of Alias’s student priced package.
My question is, is this PLE software or fully functioning software able to export in .obj with no watermark? I can’t tell from the discription given. Has anybody purchased the Student Bundle?
It’s my understanding it’s the full working version, the ple is the alias studio which comes bundled with it. You couldn’t use it for commercial adventures I reckon and whatever other restrictions that Alias might have on it.
I’d spend the extra hundred and get the unlimited so you could learn and use all the cool extra stuff like fur, cloth, fluid effects, hair etc.
Make it easier to upgrade later on and be more versant in the whole maya package.
