MatCaps Drawing Flat

Hey all, Having a bit of a weird issue for the first time. Recently, all of my matcaps have been drawing with next to no lighting information and shading. As far as I know, I didn’t purposely change any lighting settings, and think this happened after doing some higher resolution BPR renders. Still happens after a restart, and machine restart…

Noticing a few things:
-As mentioned above, materials (such as Blinn in the below example) should be pretty high specular but are drawing pretty flat
-matcap previews are not showing up
-Surface noise that would normally show up in the viewport no longer does
-Materials look fine in BPR render.

Any idea what I did to mess this up?

-Surface noise that would normally show up in the viewport no longer does
-Materials look fine in BPR render.

These three symptoms can be replicated when a mesh is drawn onto the document with less than 100% z-intensity. Try exiting edit mode, clearing the document, and then make sure MRGB and Z are both set to 100 before redrawing the tool back.

The material previews should not be affected in that case though, so I’m not sure if the above is the solution to your problem, or if you actually have two different ones.
